How It Works

  • Kick off phone call.  Your CSM will be in touch to schedule a 30-minute call to discuss the process and content of your 3-5 -minute video. Content should be informative and educational, not overly promotional.
  • Question and Answers. Once a topic and a speaker are selected, your team will create a Q&A script with 4-5 questions for the speaker and editor. Each will record their portion of the script separately and it will be professionally edited to sounds like an in-person conversation. Your team will have an opportunity to review and approve the audio file prior to video production.
  • Photos and video clips. Upon approval of the audio file, video clips you wish to be included in the video should be sent to PMG along with a “roadmap” of where each asset should be placed throughout the conversation. Please refer to the specs page for more information on photo and video requirements.
  • Video Production. When video production is complete, your team will review and provide up to two rounds of feedback.
  • Technology Minute: Your project will be deployed to our email audience in a Technology Minute template with its content written by our editors with your approval.
  • YouTube Exposure. Your Technology Minute video will also be added to your chosen brand's YouTube channel for extended reach and visibility.
  • Video Ownership. Upon completion of the project, your CSM will share the video file with you for future use.

Additional Information

Technology Minute programs are non-cancellable. Customer may be eligible for a one-time date change up to 45-days prior to the Technology Minute date. Within 45-days of the Technology Minute date, Customer may rebook and apply 50% of the fee to the future date.

For example, if a customer is supposed to run in June and they let us know 30 days before the Technology Minute that they need to reschedule we would still bill them 100% for the Technology Minute in June. When they rebook a new date, you will need to ask for a price override of 50% at the new date. You will need to create a new order for this new date, so we have both charges in the system.

If the customer tells us 2 months before the Technology Minute that they want to move, we will just move the date in Naviga entirely and they will not be charged until the Technology Minute is fulfilled. If they want to move again or cancel, we will bill them the full price during the NEW month.

Q: Who owns the video produced after the project is complete?

A: Upon completion of the project, your CSM will share the video file with the advertiser for future use.

Fulfillment Process

  • CSM coordinates with advertiser regarding recording of Technology Minute.
  • Interview is recorded asyncronysly with editor and advertiser's subject matter expert.
  • Video is edited by PMG's in-house video team.
  • Two rounds of edits are included.
  • Once approved, the video is deployed in a special e-blast to the PMG audience.
  • Readers who click on the advertiser's ad and have consented to share their information (per GDPR/CCPA) will have their name/company/email/etc listed in the Leadworks reporting. Readers who click on the advertiser's ad but have not consented to share their information (per GDPR/CCPA) will be recorded as a "company lead" in Leadworks, with only their company name showing.
  • The video is posted on YouTube and sent to the advertiser.
